Youngil Engineering Co., Ltd. (Chairman Choi Tae-won), a manufacturing company based in Daegu, has completed its evaluation under the Integrated Technology Protection Support Program.
Through on-site consultation with security experts, the company received a professional assessment identifying vulnerabilities and areas for improvement in its internal security framework.
The program is part of the “Technology Protection Fence” initiative led by Korea’s Ministry of SMEs and Startups (MSS). It integrates two previously separate programs—“On-site Expert Consultation for Technology Protection” and the “Technology Protection Task Force.”
Youngil Engineering had already participated in the pre-merger version of the program in 2023, receiving expert guidance at that time. By joining the newly integrated version, the company aims to reassess its current security status and reinforce internal protection measures.
Chairman Choi Tae-won stated,
“Security threats come not only from external sources but also from within. In some cases, companies suffer significant damage due to internal technology leaks. We undertook this program to proactively prevent such incidents before they occur.”
