
On April 1, 2025, Youngil Engineering Co., Ltd. (CEO Lee Chang-eun) announced a donation of 10 million KRW to support recovery efforts for wildfire victims in Gyeongsangbuk-do, South Korea. CEO Lee personally visited the Gyeongsangbuk-do Provincial Office to deliver the donation alongside members of the Daegu Chapter of the Korean Women Entrepreneurs Association.
The funds will be utilized for various purposes, including living expenses and emergency housing restoration for residents affected by the massive wildfires in designated special disaster zones such as Uiseong, Andong, Cheongsong, Yeongyang, and Yeongdeok.
Lee Chang-eun, a native of Bonghwa County in Gyeongsangbuk-do, expressed that his decision to contribute was deeply rooted in his affection for his hometown. He stated, “Many people across the country are suffering from wildfire damages. Though it may be a small gesture, I wanted to lend a helping hand through this donation.”
Lee is also known for his roles in fostering regional development. He has served as the chairman of the Daegu-Gyeongbuk Chapter of the Venture Business Association, chairman of the Daegu Chapter of the Korean Women Entrepreneurs Association, and as a non-executive director of Daegu Transportation Corporation, among other positions.
